Orbitz is a leading online travel agency with a heritage of keeping travelers A Step Ahead™. And they’re doing just that by integrating their travel services with the BlueTie Calendar. With this feature, business travelers and consumers alike can book hotels, flights, rental cars and comprehensive travel packages easier than ever before.
BlueTie offers users a number of access points for the integrated travel feature. BlueTie can recognize travel-related keywords in our calendar, so user’s can simply highlight content to begin a search. They can also choose to simply click the Book Travel icon or use the Quick Add option when they need to book travel. Regardless of which option they choose to use, travel options - such as the available flights, times and costs - are presented in the user’s calendar and viewed in the context of that user’s other scheduled commitments. The integration of BlueTie and Orbitz allows the user to more easily evaluate their travel options in the most natural context – their own schedule.
BlueTie’s business search feature, powered by Business.com, helps users quickly find whatever they need for their business. Business.com is the leading business search engine and features over 65,0000 product and service categories.
BlueTie users will find this feature easy to access. They will find a search box at the top of their application window, directly above “Preferences”. When users highlight text in an email, they can also seamlessly begin a search using Business.com with a simple click of their mouse.
