BlueTie Provides Real-Time Mobile Email through Partnership with Funambol
Hosting Company Expands Offerings to Deliver Instant Email and Mobile Cloud Sync Solutions
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 3, 2010) -- BlueTie, a leader in email and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) collaboration, has partnered with Funambol to bring email and cloud sync solutions to their client's mobile phones. The collaboration allows clients to share their documents, calendars, contacts and email. BlueTie differentiates their business offering by providing email and collaboration in a cloud, which eliminates the need for clients to purchase their own expensive server equipment.
Funambol provides a mobile cloud system to deliver email and data to mobile devices. Through this collaboration, BlueTie clients will have access to email and data remotely. Funambol's capabilities are compatible with BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile Devices.
Additionally, Funambol provides BlueTie the opportunity to offer customers a Real-Time Mobile Email service through push technology, which syncs email, contacts, calendars, and task data from customers' web application to their mobile device in real-time. Real-Time Mobile Email alleviates the headache of refreshing a mobile email application to retrieve new information, increasing the battery life of the device and assuring users that even while on the move; instantaneous data and email updates are synced to their device.
